Can You Build Muscle Being Plant Based?
Ever since I starting talking about no longer eating meat I've gotten a lot of questions about my protein intake and whether or not a plant based diet offers enough protein - especially for those of us lifting heavy weights in the gym.
To answer that, yes absolutely!
Protein is a key component to building lean muscle and aiding in helping you burn fat. It’s needed for growth and repair of muscles and preserving lean muscle mass.
Therefore, you can see why people are so worried about whether or not you can get enough protein without meat. Especially being in the “bodybuilding” world where there’s this dogma that you have to eat meat to build muscle. Farthest thing from the truth.
